This will be due to our excess facility, LaybuyBOOST.
When a customer signs up to use Laybuy, we do a credit check to determine their Laybuy limit (ranges between $120 - $1,500).
If a customer has a limit of $300, and wants to purchase something for $500, they still can, they simply pay the excess in their first instalment ($200 up front, then the next five payments will be split from their Laybuy limit).
LaybuyBOOST allows customers to still be able to complete the purchase, even if the product price exceeds their limit.
