Returns always need to be processed on to the payment method that was used when the order was placed.
Orders made via Laybuy Card:
- If you have made a purchase with Laybuy Card, you must present the card to the terminal once the refund has been processed by the staff member. This will prompt you to tap your card, just like making a purchase. The refund will then be processed and your payments will be cancelled or refunded.
- If we are unable to match the refund to a specific order from that merchant (i.e. if you receive partial refund on your card), we will ask you to allocate the refund to the correct order. You will just need to select an order to assign this refund to:
Orders made via SMS/barcode process:
- If you have made a purchase using SMS-based Laybuy instore you must let the retailer know that is how you paid for it. They will then be able to process the refund as any other Laybuy refund.
